The Journey of Moments” is about human’s journey in time and space – towards an inevitable end.

“Not still nor moving. Not laying down nor standing up.
Not awake but still not asleep. Not here nor anywhere else”
-Fernando Pessoa

The Journey of Moments was premiered in the Turku Cathedral in 2014. This collaboration between the legendary choreographer and dancer Jorma Uotinen, organ virtuoso Pétur Sakari and PDC combines organ music, poetry and dance to create a multilayered whole that grabs and engulfs the viewer in it’s depths. The idea of creating a work together was born in Pétur’s mind and as Jorma Uotinen dwelled into the subject he told a whole new world of music opened in front of him as he listened to Sakari’s interpretations.
